NDMesh: Wireless Mesh Network

From the perspective of research, the performance of a live system often exhibits interesting properties that go otherwise unnoticed in theory or simulation. Whether it is dealing with limited energy due to snow covering a solar panel or flash crowds gathering the latest popular web video on a smart phone, live system testing is extremely critical. To that end, over the course of the last year three faculty at Notre Dame (Poellabauer, Striegel, Laneman) have been deploying a thirty node wireless mesh network (NDMesh) across the campus of Notre Dame for the purposes of testing.
