WiiLAB

Note: We are porting the curricular aspects over to our new Motion Gaming wiki (see above links) dedicated exclusively to Wii and Kinect. Please be patient as we port over the content.

The code represents various examples from the WiiLAB project, an effort to incorporate the Nintendo Wiimote into introductory engineering courses employing MATLAB at the University of Notre Dame. The code is completely open and we simply ask that you properly attribute the website when writing your code. The code was written through various efforts of Jordan Brindza, Jessica Szweda, and their advisor Aaron Striegel.

  • There is a known issue when using WiiLAB with MATLAB v2007a. We are currently working on a fix for it.
  • Visit here for a patch for MATLAB v2007a as well as working code for the Wii balance board (courtesy of Ian Stevenson at Northwestern).
  • For 64 bit Windows systems (Windows 7, Windows Vista), download the 64 bit version below and follow the instructions in the readme inside the zip folder.
